Instagram Feed Ads for Products: 4:5 Images and Dialect Captions
Make Instagram feed ads at 4:5, the vertical ratio Meta lists for Instagram feed image ads, and keep the primary text near 125 characters, Meta's recommended length. In Lahjty (لهجتي), choose 4:5 in Image mode, attach a saved product or a product photo, and you get an ad image built on the real photo plus a caption in your customers' Arabic dialect.
Meta accepts ratios from 4:5 tall to 1.91:1 wide, so a square 1:1 image also runs in the feed. Lahjty can also turn a finished ad into a story later.

Example ads made from one product photo
These are fictional products from Lahjty's own library of ad styles. Each ad was made from one photo of its product. They show what the styles look like, not results from customers.

How to make an Instagram feed ad in Lahjty
Attach the product
Start from a saved product, or add one with its photo. Saved products keep the text printed on the product, such as the label and logo, exactly as it is.
Choose 4:5 and Instagram
In Image mode pick 4:5, set the platform to Instagram and choose the dialect your buyers speak.
Decide on text in the image
Keep the image clean, or add one short headline and, if you have one, the offer line. Two short lines read better on a phone than a paragraph on the picture.
Generate and check
Lahjty reads every new ad back before saving it. Look at it on your phone too, at the size people will see it.
Write the caption
Press Caption for post text in the same dialect, and put the hook and the product name in the first line.
Why 4:5 suits product ads in the feed
A 4:5 image is taller than a square, so the product can sit large in the frame with room above or beside it for a headline. Meta recommends 1440 × 1800 pixels for this placement. In Lahjty, choose 2K when fine detail on a label or texture matters, and 1K for everyday posts.
If you also run the ad in Stories, make a 9:16 version instead of letting the app crop it: edit the finished ad, choose 9:16, and Lahjty extends the background rather than stretching the product.
Where to put text on a feed image
Use one headline of a few words and, at most, an offer line. Arabic reads from the right, so a headline in the upper right with the product slightly lower gives the eye a natural path. Keep text off the product and away from the very edges. When text is printed, Lahjty reads it back and compares it with the words you approved.
Caption length and dialect
Meta recommends about 125 characters of primary text and 40 for the headline. In practice that is one hook line, one line about the product and one call to action. Write in the dialect your buyers use: Saudi for most Saudi stores, Emirati for UAE buyers and Egyptian for Egypt.
Check before you post
- The product is large, sharp and matches your photo.
- No more than two short lines of text on the image.
- Text is clear of the product and the edges.
- The caption's first line has the hook and the product name.
- Price, offer and last day match your store.

Questions sellers ask
Should I use 4:5 or 1:1 for Instagram feed ads?
Use 4:5 when the product is the hero: Meta lists 4:5 as the ratio for Instagram feed images, and the taller frame gives the product more of the screen. Use 1:1 if you want one image for other square placements too. Lahjty makes both.
How long should an Instagram ad caption be?
Meta recommends about 125 characters of primary text for Instagram feed image ads and 40 characters for the headline. Longer text is allowed, but the first line does most of the work, so start with the hook and the product name.
Can Lahjty write the caption in Saudi or Egyptian Arabic?
Yes. Captions and headlines can be written in Saudi, Emirati, Egyptian, Levantine or Iraqi Arabic, in Fus'ha, or in English. Pick the dialect in the composer; the product's name stays exactly as it appears on the product.
Will the product look different in the ad?
It should not. Lahjty builds the ad on your product photo and checks the result against it: shape, colors, materials and the brand or product name printed on it. If it still does not match after one redraw, the image is not saved and the credits return.
Can I turn a feed ad into a story?
Yes. Open the finished ad, edit it and choose 9:16. Lahjty recomposes the picture for the taller frame, extending the background naturally instead of stretching the product. Check the printed text after an edit, because edits are not read back the way new ads are.
