Reels and TikTok Voiceover Ads in Arabic Dialects
To add an Arabic voiceover to a Reels or TikTok ad, write a short line in the dialect your buyers speak, turn it into audio, and lay it over your 9:16 video or still ad in the app's editor. In Lahjty (لهجتي), make a voiceover from a caption or a saved product and it is read aloud in Saudi, Emirati, Egyptian or Levantine Arabic, Fus'ha or English, then saved as an MP3 you can download.
Sound matters on both apps: Meta says Reels default to sound on, and TikTok's ad policy says the ad must contain audio.

How to make a voiceover ad
Start from the caption
Make the ad first, then write its caption in the dialect you want to hear. A voiceover line works best as one question and one call to action.
Write for the ear
Shorten the caption: no hashtags, no emojis, one product name. Lahjty's voiceover scripts write numbers as digits, and the voice reads currency codes such as SAR as words.
Pick the dialect and delivery
In Speech mode choose the dialect and a delivery: Voiceover suits Reels, Energetic suits offers and Storytelling suits gifts and launches.
Listen, then download
Play the result in the chat and download the MP3. If you change the words after making the audio, Lahjty asks you to make it again before you play or download it, so the voice always matches the text.
Put it together
Add the MP3 to your 9:16 video or still ad in the Instagram or TikTok editor, or any video app. Keep the Reels caption short: Meta lists 44 characters of primary text for Reels ads.
Why a voiceover helps product ads
A product photo shows what the item looks like; a voice in the buyer's own dialect tells them why it is for them. Meta calls sound on Reels video ads optional but strongly recommended, Snapchat says two thirds of Snaps are played with sound on, and TikTok requires audio in every ad. A short voiceover meets all three without filming anything.
How long the voiceover should be
Our sample lines are about 10 words each and run 4 to 5 seconds. TikTok's own pages differ on length, from 9 to 15 seconds on its reservation in-feed page to 21 to 34 seconds in its video advertising guide, so start short and test. A 9:16 still with a voiceover of a few seconds and a clear call to action is a simple first test.
Choosing the dialect for the voice
Use the dialect of the market you are buying ads in: Saudi for Saudi Arabia, Emirati for the UAE, Egyptian for Egypt, and Levantine for Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Palestine. Iraqi is available for written captions but not for voiceovers. A Latin product name such as SAHRA OUD is read as written, so listen once to check how it sounds.
Check before you post
- The voice says the same price and offer as the caption and the store.
- The product name sounds right.
- The hook comes in the first words.
- Caption, voice and image use the same dialect.
- On-screen text stays out of the bottom 35% where captions sit (Meta).

Questions sellers ask
Which Arabic dialects can Lahjty voice?
Saudi, Emirati, Egyptian and Levantine Arabic, plus Fus'ha and English. Iraqi is available for captions and headlines, not for voiceovers. Each voiceover is saved in History as an MP3 you can download.
Do TikTok ads need sound?
Yes. TikTok's ad policy says the ad must contain audio, and its video guide suggests pairing music with clear voiceovers that explain the benefits. A voiceover in your buyers' dialect does that job.
How many credits does a voiceover use?
A voiceover uses 5 credits, the same as a standard ad image (5). If the audio fails after it starts, the credits return to your balance.
Can I use my own script?
Yes. In Speech mode you can type or paste your own text in Arabic or English, then pick the dialect and delivery. Keep it short for Reels and TikTok, and write it the way people in your market talk.
Will the voice change my caption?
No. Lahjty keeps your saved caption as written and prepares a separate speech version for the voice, for example reading SAR as riyals. If you edit the caption, make the audio again so the words match.
